Fellowship

FELLOWSHIP: WE ARE CALLED TO BELONG, NOT JUST BELIEVE.

St. Luke is a church that believes life together means enjoying one another's company, sharing meals and spending time in renewal together. There are various fellowship events that take place at any given time, but a few are regular installments.

  • St. Luke hosts an annual chili cook-off every Fall that draws people from both the church and the surrounding community. Prizes are awarded, and someone is crowned the Chili King or Queen for the next year. Our current Chili Queen is Bev Adair.
  • On second Sundays following service, we have a time of coffee and fellowship. Light refreshments are provided.
  • Fifth Sundays bring us back together on Sunday evening for a pot luck dinner and hymn sing.
  • On Fat Tuesday - the day before the Lenten fast begins - we have a pancake and sausage supper at the church.
  • On Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter and the first day of Sunday School we have a churchwide breakfast/brunch that is always great fun.
