About Us

St. Luke Lutheran Church is a small but vibrant part of the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church, and a growing mission congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

We at St. Luke's believe that the story of God is just as important today as it has ever been. We gather to hear God's story as it unfolds among us, we in turn share God's story with others, and we live lives that have been changed by the story of God. We believe that the story of God changes everything, and it compells us to share our faith and our resources with our community and the whole world.

The remarkable thing about the story of God is that there is room for everyone in the story. Saint Benedict, who was a great renewer of the church, once said that we should welcome all people as if they were Christ himself. We take that to heart at St. Luke's, and welcome ALL PEOPLE to worship God with us.
